A very simple idea is beautifully expressed in this booklet.
Little Thomas asks his Mother ‘Where is God? and she answers in short sentences. Each answer is illustrated , again, very simply but very clearly.
So for instance, Thomas asks ‘Has He a big long beard? And the illustration shows how Thomas is imagining that.
Mother answers with examples such as ‘God is in the wind, in the rain, in the showers.’ And there is Thomas portrayed holding an umbrella in the rain.
I loved the illustrations, they catch the attention immediately especially the eyes of both Mother and Thomas – and even the snowman! A perfect book for introducing a young child to the truth of God. As Thomas says on the penultimate page ‘God is all around me, everywhere I go, keeping me close, watching me grow.’
