50 Masses with Children

Revised and Updated

by Sr Francesca Kelly

Price: £13.50
Publisher:Columba Press
Published:30 March 2012
This is the latest of Sister Kelly’s books of masses for children. There include ten new masses as well as an update to the revision of forty earlier ones. The masses are arranged by themes - Prayer, Illness, Family, Happiness, Christmas, Easter and many others of interest to young people. The form of the mass is the classic one all Catholics are familiar with - opening prayers, readings from the Old and New Testaments, blessings and prayers of the faithful. This is not a book to be read from beginning to end, but to be used as a practical handbook. There are themes for every occasion and each mass is complete in itself. There is a short and apposite introduction to each mass by the author which sets the mood and scene. This is an invaluable resource for teachers and priests who are working with primary school children.
