Protecting Your Child From Sexual Abuse

by Joanne Marie Greer

Published:12 July 2011
The sexual abuse of children makes for headlines these days but it is nothing new, we have just become so much more aware of it and what we can do to prevent it. This means teaching our children what is acceptable behaviour and what is most definitely NOT and what their reaction should be. This quite slim book has a lot to say on the subject, written by a lady who has specialised in this.
Perhaps you think you know how to protect your child, but think again, have you thought of everything you can do? I certainly picked up one thing I missed when rearing my daughters, and I now regret it, though no harm was done. The point is that one small thing could have been the start of a disastrous situation.
If you have children, young or older, then reading this book will be a help to you, even if all it does is clarify a situation.
