The Daily Prayer Rosary

With Daily and Seasonal Readings from Common Worship

Compiled by Clay Roundtree

Price: £12.99
Publisher:Canterbury Press imprint of Hymns Ancient & Modern Ltd
Published:July 2011
The author of this book is an Anglican priest who claims the Rosary for all Christians, not just Roman Catholics. However, there are differences. The meditations are drawn from the psalms and biblical canticles from the Church of Englandís Book of Common Worship. The structure is therefore that of the four Offices - Morning Prayer, Day Prayer, Evening Prayer, Night Prayer. The author, although insisting that a set of beads is not essential for good prayer, considers them a help to concentration and a comforting hand tool. The bulk of the book is made up of the classic Rosary prayers throughout the Churchís year from Advent to Easter. Catholics as well as Anglicans will find this book of great practical use, containing not only familiar prayers but also meditations and reflections on the scriptures and liturgy.
