Review:
This children's book is set in a small West Country village. It is about the adventures of two ten year old boys who are having a difficult time at school: one for being from a wealthy background and the other from a Gypsy background. The two strike up a friendship and the excitement begins. Along the way the two discover the Bible and the Christian faith.

The Christian thread that runs through the book is well written although the way that the parents of the Gypsy boy are saved is rather bizarre. It would have been better if the local church had played a bigger role.

However the story is interesting, the morals sound and the lessons clear. It would make a good Sunday School prize and would be especially relevant for boys who have no Christian background.
