Review:
This is a second volume of stories about the life of C H Spurgeon written for children. These anecdotes are taken from his years as a pastor. Each story is two pages long and ends with a brief application and a relevant Bible verse.

We read of lessons from cats, dogs, boats and rings. We read of stories about unusual answers to prayers and exciting conversions. Spurgeon's wit and wisdom shines through.

Like the first volume, this book is best suited for a child who comes from a Christian home and has heard of Charles Spurgeon. It could therefore make a good Sunday School prize.

Preachers who give a children's talk before the sermon will find here an excellent collection of engaging and spiritually uplifting stories to use.
