To Be a Pilgrim

Further Reflections on the Psalms of Ascents

by Rhett Dodson

Price: £6.00
Publisher:Day One Publications
Published:October 2012
This little book consists of eight sermons on seven of the psalms of ascents. These were the psalms that the Israelites sang as they journeyed to Jerusalem for the three annual feasts of unleavened bread, weeks and tabernacles.

The author shows that these psalms instruct and inspire all pilgrims as they journey to their heavenly Jerusalem. Pastor Dodson carefully explains the text and then draws out valuable lessons for us today. Every sermon has a clear structure with memorable illustrations and applications. In particular, I like the way he sees Christ and his work in these psalms.

All believers will find help and encouragement in this book. This is a companion volume to This brief Journey also published by Day One.
