Review:
These two books (Old and New Testament) make up the third instalment in the Hidden Heroes series, which looks at familiar (and not so familiar) Bible stories from the perspective of people who play a major part in the narrative but who do not take centre stage. Examples in these books include Pharaoh's cupbearer, who forgot about Joseph, and Apollos. In this way Rebecca Parkinson gives children a new perspective on each story and the questions at the end of each story encourage them to read more and to think about the issues that have been addressed.

I heartily recommend this whole series, either as Sunday School prizes, as read-alone books or to help in family devotions.
