The Last Word

by Wallace Benn

Price: £7.99
Publisher:Christian Focus Publications
Published:March 2012
In this book, Wallace Benn the Bishop of Lewes, examines the words said by Jesus to his disciples in the upper room at the Last Supper. Although not strictly 'The Last Word' they are the most important words spoken by Jesus to his disciples telling them to be witnesses in taking the Gospel to the World. They are the very essence of His ministry and Bishop Benn looks at them and provides a commentary on their relevance today.

The book is steeped in Biblical references and is broken into five sections each dealing with a separate aspect found in Johnís Gospel, including an analysis of the final prayer.

The book is simply but powerfully written and reflects Bishop Bennís ability to reach out to the community. The book contains a Bibliography and Study Questions for either private or group use.
