Bible History at a Glance
by Scripture Union Team
Folded little booklet
Publisher:Scripture Union (SU)
This is one sheet of colourful paper, approx 2 A4 sheets end to end. On one side is an Old Testament timeline , with a New Testament line on the other. It is fairly basic and is meant to be used alongside the Light range.
The whole thing folds down to be pocket sized, so gives easy reference, showing a basic heading, the year, a brief outline of what happened and the key biblical people. The Old Testament gives references approximately 200 or so years apart and the New Testament is approximately 100 years in total. This gives children a good idea of how far apart things happen in the bible. A useful initial introduction to the timings of biblical events, presented in a clear simple way.
There is also a larger version of the timeline printed on laminated paper.
