What the Bible Reveals About Heaven

by Daniel A Brown

Price: £8.99
Publisher:Authentic Media
Published:August 2013
This is an interesting book looking into the subject of heaven. It is rooted in Scripture rather than speculation and this alone makes it worth reading.

Each chapter sets out to answer a number of questions that are commonly asked ranging from "Do pets go to heaven?" to "Will I have a body?" In between the author covers the fundamental issues of the nature of heaven and who will be there.

Daniel Brown takes his time in answering each question sharing anecdotes and illustrations before quoting a Scripture and reaching a conclusion. His choice of verses and his exposition is sometimes limited. On some issues the alert Bible student will see holes in his arguments. This applies in particular to his views on the nature of man.

Overall this is an edifying read. He paints a vivid picture of the joys of heaven. I like how he ends: "The whole point of eternal life is to know God and his Son."
