No Enemy to Conquer

Forgiveness in an Unforgiving World

by Michael Henderson

Price: £10.99
Publisher:Baylor University Press from Gardners Books
Published:February 2009
A humbling and inspiring book, and hard to live up to! Covering people of all faiths, and aspects of theology, morality and politics, the book contains stories of people who found the courage to reconcile with their enemies, and how they achieved this. Famous names Desmond Tutu, Benazir Bhutto, Rajmohan Gandhi, Jonathan Sacks, and the Dalai Lama rub shoulders with those less well known. So often the forgiveness then brought about an outcome of working with others to bring about more reconciliation. When the world seems no nearer to peace, a copy of this book should be given to all world leaders!
