Living Evangelization

Three Minute Reflections on Faith

by Joan Mueller

Price: £5.95
Publisher:New City
Published:October 2012
"Joan Mueller challenges readers to evangelise the modern world by the way they live." So reads the first line of the blurb on the back cover. This is a book of meditations on the meaning and life of faith, written from a North American Roman Catholic perspective. It contains exactly what the subtitle indicates: 3 minute reflections on faith. Each begins with a quotation from the Bible, which is followed by a brief quotation from Pope Benedict XVI's apostolic letter The Door of Faith. Meditations follow on the four themes in which the book is set out: The Gift of Faith; Our Faith Conversion; Mary, Model of Faith, and Our Evangelizing Mission. It is all about living faith in an authentic way in the modern world and, as such, succeeds admirably. It's a nice little book that one might well return to many times over.
