As a Child

Godís Call to Littleness

by Phil Steer

Price: £6.99
Publisher:Lulu UK
Published:22 April 2012
A word at a time, picked out in bold type from a relevant sentence from the Gospels at the start of each chapter , Phil Steer has brought out the true meaning of Christís call for us to be like little children. To be child-like.
So often we do not pause to think about this particular aspect of the Gospel story: the times when Jesus interacts with children, when he calls a child to him, when he speaks about being like a child, or says we must be born again.
The author has obviously dwelt seriously on this one theme and produced a book of teaching that clearly sets out in very readable prose, the aspects of childlike behaviour that would enhance our own faith.
A book to read and re-read, and hopefully be changed by.
Excellent Ė and I loved the cover, I smiled each time I looked at it.
