The Sixty Minute Grandparent
by Rob Parsons
Publisher:Hodder and Stoughton
After recently reading a parenting book, which rambled on for 300 pages, this book on grandparenting was a welcome contrast. It delivers what the title suggests, and after reading it - in 60 minutes (yes it can be done!) you will be well on the way to "becoming the best grandparent you can be", which is the book's sub-title.
Concise, well informed, and written with a commendable mix of common sense, wisdom and humour, this is a book I would recommend to all grandparents - would-be ones and those already 'underway’.
For Rob Parsons, a father and a grandfather, this book is another triumph to add to his previous books on parenthood, marriage and teenagers.
Beautifully produced - this small hardback is well worth the price and is wholeheartedly recommended.
