Standing on My Knees

Establishing a lifeline of prayer

by Jeff Lucas

Price: £7.99
Publisher:Monarch imprint of Lion Hudson
Published:February 2013
Jeff Lucas's writing always makes me smile. This engaging book on prayer is no exception. He insists he is not an 'expert' in prayer and has some self-deprecating stories to prove it. But as he walks us through the Lord's Prayer, phrase by phrase, the practical suggestions he offers obviously flow out of his life-long experience.

Be aware that this book is a re-publication of How not to pray first published ten years ago. There is a new introduction but the rest of the book is the same with some minor editorial changes. I did read the original book ten years ago but I am glad to have read it again now.
