Review:

Though a book for personal reading and reflection, there are so many group settings or seasons that this book could be used in—Justice and Peace groups, small church groups, at Lent, at Advent, and many more besides—the list is almost endless.

This book looks at peace, at love, at the call we have placed on us by the real message of Christ and the bible and it uses the words of not only scripture, not only poem prayers (or lyrics), but the words of people that have been in places of violence, change, poverty and abandonment or revolution to highlight our need to genuinely practice a 'Bethlehem Theology'—a theology of humble and honest love with direct action and justice at heart.

A well written and well thought out book.
