Review:
Kate McCord is not her real name nevertheless the spirit of the author shines through in her stories of life among Afghanistan's men and women. The writing is very descriptive and is as detailed as describing and using a dialogue on the colour and length of beards worn by the Afghan men. Also among the sights and sounds of everyday life the pages share some startling stories of covered pain. This book is also an exploration of a Christian woman into the belief and way of life of the Afghanistan people. She walks with strength, sharing her personal story of forgiveness in the hope of being an example. We see powerful change amongst individuals with horrific stories as they decide to forgive those they hate.
