Are You Sad, Little Bear?

A Book About Learning To Say Goodbye

by Rachel Rivett, illustrated by Tina Macnaughton

Price: £5.99
Published:March 2013
This is not a new book first having been published in 2009, but it is a lovely, gentle and sensitive book that deals with death in a beautiful and poignant way using the changing of the seasons, the habits of animals and nature, and the sun and the moon to explain how sometimes goodbye is sad but not really forever.
Beautifully drawn and with gentle flowing words it is a lovely book that might just help offer some comfort to a young child for whom the loss of a loved one has just become a sad reality. It is also a book that works for church and unchurched audiences too.
