Review:
Meyer's easy to read and down-to-earth approach engages the reader from the very first page. Broken down into three parts the book explores the battlefield for the mind and the winning strategy against the enemy who has plotted against us since we were born. Meyer takes us on a journey to understanding the mind and its ways, she equips us with scripture and solutions to take control of every thought and in doing so taking control of our minds. This book doesn't offer quick fixes, but rather prepares us for the long-haul, encouraging the reader to come to terms with their own mind's 'wilderness' mentality, make the decision to want to change, to take action, not to get discouraged but rather trust in God and not to reason but rather commit yourself to the Spirit and persist and have the victory in taking back your mind. Whilst this book is more expensive that the general lifestyle books, I believe it is worth every penny.
