Review:

Eight weeks of daily poem-prayers, that are short but filling and would fit perfectly into anyone’s quiet time or day as they journey through lent and easter.

Add to this a great opening chapter that looks at what prayer is. Next, it looks further at what the author terms ‘barefoot prayer’—prayer in and after the silence, a place of humility where we meet our vulnerability before God. This makes this an excellent personal resource but also one which could be well used by a minister or small group leader looking for material to use during the season—or indeed after it.

For, as the author is keen to tell us these barefoot prayers were not originally meant as a lent/easter resource but were written honestly and openly at all times after his own time of barefoot prayer.
