Review:

The Lordship of Jesus is never more important theologically and this is top-class summary that helps all with compelling conviction about the uniqueness of Jesus.

McGrath is a consummate guide in this accessible sweep of goodness, glory and grace of Jesus. The beauty, meaning and significance of God incarnate is well explored here. Some of the big theological rocks in the faith are covered well here, but it's the incarnation particular that for me gets best exploration in this exploration of the identity of Jesus.

Creedal roots, aspects of Marks gospel, and compact gospel precision make for a great project by SPCK and McGrath together. It reads with the compactness of twitter and the faithfulness of Jesus, the "joy of every longing heart." What’s not to love about this!
