A Clergy Husband's Survival Guide

by Matthew Caminer

Price: £8.99
Publisher:SPCK (Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge)
Published:August 2012
"However much or little you decide to be involved - you are part of her journey and it will affect you." Matthew Caminer offers a broad guide to the trials, tribulations, pitfalls and peculiarities of being married to an ordained woman. As a husband of a newly ordained priest I recognised a great many of the potential problems, challenges and events discussed and can safely say that the past couple of years would have been traversed more smoothly had this book been read whilst my wife was still in training! Useful not only for identifying these challenges and offering advice and wisdom, this book also gives insights into what can be expected from others your wife; the congregation; the Church and could be informative and enlightening for all of these. Worthy to be read by all, not just for those finding themselves in the new (and not especially well defined) role of clergy husband.
