Review:
The pieces that have been selected and put together, and have been built, as it were, into this book, were first distributed via computer. The editor assures the readers of this. The structure that draws them into a coherent whole is that of the Sacred Triduum and Easter Sunday. Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, all have their part to play in prose and verse, to be finally focused in the resurrection. On the way Dom Sebastian has some startling and rewarding things to say. Not everyone will agree with him, but the book deserves its sub-title The Shudder of Blissful Truth
