Exploring Luke’s Gospel

by Leslie J Francis and Peter Atkins

Price: £10.99
Publisher:Continuum - A Bloomsbury Company
Published:October 2000
The subtitle of this book is 'A Guide to the Gospel Readings in the Revised Common Lectionary' indicating its usefulness to those undertaking preaching. However, the book has a further strand in that it incorporates the very popular Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to proceed from context to sensing, intuition, feeling and thinking, to enable the preacher to both reach and nurture all four psychological types in their congregation. The book is part of a series Personality Type and Scripture and the psychology should not be a deterrent as the book is already enjoying large sales.
